Sonia graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the esteemed rehabilitation-focused physiotherapy program at Northwestern University (USA) in 2007. Her physiotherapy approach is based on the Motor Control Framework which enables her to diagnose and treat movement dysfunction. This knowledge of movement biomechanics, combined with years of developing skill in assessing and treating movement dysfunction, sets her apart. She deepened her understanding of human movement through her Pilates study, and graduated from the internationally-recognised Polestar® Pilates’ Studio & Rehabilitation Comprehensive Training in 2022. She utilises the Pilates Method within her physiotherapy assessments and treatments, with excellent results for her clients.

Sonia has a special interest in rehabilitation, and is passionate about helping you recover and achieve health and wellness.

Sonia appreciates how Pilates can help people attain and maintain health. As it is a safe, gentle, naturally progressive technique, Pilates exercises can be modified and tailored in a huge variety of ways to gradually build you back up to health.

Originally from the United States of America, Sonia moved to Australia in 2011 for her husband Hugh. Married in 2012, they have three children and live in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
